The building boasts a beautiful aesthetic, a wonderful atmosphere. Staff were indeed lovely, particularly Eve, who extended a warm welcome during check-in and throughout the evening. The double boutique suite included nice decoration plus a bathroom had a huge shower and a bath. The hotel features beautiful grounds where I could sit by the lake before dinner watching ducks.
The room was indeed quite hot, even when the fan was in operation.

The building is beautiful. The grounds are amazing with a serene pond. the bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. They were always willing to help. every detail seemed thoughtfully considered. The stay was restful.
The hot tap was actually too hot. It was not possible to touch the water. this could be altered at the boiler to make it safer for all guests. it was a minor inconvenience, but worth noting.

the location was good, and the staff seemed pleasant.
The room, a double room, felt quite small for the price i paid. there was a noticeable musty smell in the bathroom, rather off-putting (it wasn't the best). also, the breakfast buffet could have been better stocked. Some items ran out quickly and weren't promptly replenished.

the grounds boast a beautiful lake and abundant trees. wild ducks and black swans were visible. the room was comfortable and well kept. i especially liked the power shower and the honesty box with treats.
the curtains covering the main door did not meet. this caused a noticeable cold draft.

A romantic sanctuary

I discovered a good touch in my room. Doors opened directly onto the beautiful garden, a feature i very much appreciated. Breakfast offered abundant choices, it was served early, which suited my schedule perfectly. The room was clean, and i found the bed quite comfortable..
I noticed a slight issue with the spotlight outside the hotel. It attracted moths which flew loudly against the window. It was a bit of a distraction.

The breakfast menu provided many options and was worth the price. Coffee, delicious fruits, and juices were available each morning. The pub dining area was spacious, the bar served great drinks, and the food tasted amazing.

The food was lovely. The service was excellent. The room was comfy and the staff were very friendly. The hotel made accommodations for babies. I would certainly recommend and would love to return.
My room suffered from poor sound insulation. I could hear conversations from the adjoining room and stomping from above. This went on until 1:30am, difficult as I had an early start for work.

the area is quiet and boasts plenty of parking, always a plus. Public areas are furnished eclectically. It certainly made the hotel stand out.
